The Transport and Logistics Internship Programme forms part of Transnet Freight Rail’s commitment to youth development and skills enhancement.

Interns may be involved in a variety of duties depending on operational requirements and placement areas.
Responsibilities may include:

This practical exposure is intended to help interns gain a deeper understanding of transport and logistics operations within a large organisation.
To qualify for the internship programme, applicants must:
✔ Be South African citizens
✔ Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
✔ Be unemployed
✔ Have completed all theoretical training
✔ Have no prior work experience in their field of study
✔ Have no bursary obligations
✔ Be available for the duration of the programme
Applicants must have completed a qualification in:
📦 Transport and Logistics
or
📦 A related field within Logistics and Supply Chain Management
